Feeding Glossy Black Cockatoo | Kangaroo Island Commercial Photography Pete Nash
Beautiful Glossy Black Cockatoo photo was taken at American River Kangaroo Island after 100 of shots taken over 6 months this beautiful Glossy allowed me to get close to her to take many photos of as you can see the glossy eats with her left hand that's how you can tell that see is a glossy in 2009 there was about 340 t0 360 left on the island making them very endangered so when i photograph them i try not to scare them and gently move to a safe distance, the Glossy makes a beautiful sound when feeding and with there young it pulls on your heart strings such a precious bird living at American River lets as a local see them very often as they fly past our house hope this makes you see the beauty that i see

Beauty in Reflection | Kangaroo Island Commercial Photography Pete Nash
I was driving home about 5 weeks ago when i stumbled across the lagoon late one afternoon as you can see the reflections are amazing and the photo look as it would of done 50 years ago with the softness and feel of the black and white masters Kangaroo Island has something special about it you can drive the same way hundreds of times but one day the light will be right and you have your camera with you as well touch wood and when you get home load it up on the old Mac and there you have it hope you enjoy it
